An einer Flussbiegung der Havel liegt das Wochenendhaus. Der Bau besticht durch ein pavilionartiges Erdgeschoss mit freiem Ausblick auf die umgebenden Wälder und den Fluss. Eine vorgelagerte Veranda und drehbare Fenster lassen das Erdgeschoss dabei zum offenen Teil des Gartens werden. Auf zwei länglichen Trägern ruhen eine Reihe von Nagelbindern die die privateren Räume des Dachgeschosses aufspannen, zwei Schlafräume sowie Lese- und Atelierraum. Durch die dunkle äußere Struktur tritt der Bau in die Tiefe des Waldes zurück.
Situated on the banks of the river Havel, surrounded by dark woodlands and sandy hills, sits the weekend house. The groundfloor is opened up onto the surroundings, like a pavilion. With its rotating windows and patio the groundfloor opens up towards the garden becoming part of it. Above the ground, floating mid air, a folded wooden roofstructure encapsulates the private rooms. Here one finds two sleeping rooms, sanitary facilities as well as a reading room right at the buildings top. Through its dark wooden covering, the building almost vanishes within the surrounding forest.
